KTV

Went to KTV near our school with Lay Yen, Maybelline, Yie Yeng, Jacelyn, Raymond, Yao Tian and Boon Pin. It is the cheapest KTV I ever went $80 RMB for 8 person = S$2.50!!!

It was fun and cool despite the rain and cold weather! We had a fun time... But no pictures yet as I need time to sort out. Will upload them once I got the time. The next KTV session will be Maybel's birthday! I am so looking forward to it!!!

Hey people! I am back with more updates! As I mention before, I went to Shanghai and Suzhou, but somehow, the food was not all that great...... In fact, we asked Wee Han to get supper for us(after his dinner with his friends) because of the poor food conditions. Guess the only good thing of that happen to us is the motel room we were staying in for the night at Shanghai.

At Shanghai, we went to 城隍庙to take a look and walk around. After a while, our group disperse somehow and we are left with only five of us, and so we went to Starbucks for some drinks. See what I am holding below? It is the 汤包Yie Yeng bought when we were going towards Starbucks. Took it and took a photo!

After that we went to this place call 外滩to take a look at the scenery of Shanghai. Take a look at our photos!

We finally have our full 10 people group photos! Going to take more next time!!!

At night, we took this cruise to take a look at the night view of Shanghai and we paid extra $20RMB to go to the VIP seats to take photos and stuff!

After that, we went to the motel and to dismay, we were not told to bring our passport for checking into the hotel and in the end, we need our tourguide to borrow passports for us to stay at the motel for the night. Look at the sweetness of the hotel!

The next morning, we went to Suzhou and went to 虎丘、园林and this 珍珠产地for the tourists.

I bought some CDs!

Going to Shanghai tomorrow and Suzhou on Sunday morning, therefore will not be staying in the hostel for the next two days, will be back to update once I come back from this field trip!

Anyway, since, today we have no lesson, I decided to do some cleaning for the room to make up for Sunday since I will only be back on Sunday evening. Half way through my cleaning, Lay Yen came over to ask if I want to go to 国库书城with them. But I am cleaning halfway! So I ask Jacelyn if she wanted to tag along with them and she decided she is going. So I am in the room alone for the day! Was cleaning and uploading the pictures and stuff for the ZUCC blog until 4 something. After that, was trying to do some work but obviously when there is no inspirations, I can't work at all!



So ended up reading some novels online and watching some drama to get ideas...... Anyway back to the main topic for this post! Because I did not go with Lay Yen and Maybelline to the book store, I ask them if they could help me get the CD I saw last time when I went there with Boon Pin and Yao Tian. Although Boon Pin was saying he will go back again, and I was saying I wanted to return there again, but I decided that since Lay Yen and Maybelline are I going, I can get them to help me get the CD since the CDs I wanted seems to be left with only a few copies...



And they got the correct CDs! And this is for my sisters! Even though the cover is a bit scratched and all, but the price is only like S$4.40 and S$7.50 respectively! Take a look at them!!!



It is Kato Kazuki and AAA! I heard from my friend that there seems to be more than what I saw last time. So I will go back again to look for them since quite a number of us seems to want to go back. And also, next time round, I will be looking for some novels by those Japan authors (such as 藤井树) as well!!!

Spending...

Went to 欧尚yesterday to shop for some daily necessities. And guess what? I spend over $200 RMB on that! But 1/4 of the $200 RMB went to my table lamp simply because the table is too dark and I am unable to do my work well when the light souce is too dark. The table lamp is chose by my friend who wanted to get a table lamp too. So I ask him to get another one for me because I don't really know all these electronic stuff. Take a look at the table lamp! Isn't the table much brighter now?

Today, my class people decided to go to 公联(The place where I bought my bag, and able to bargin price). But I didn't follow the group simply because I wasn't feeling up to it and I knew they will be back quite late(They are still not back yet, while I am blogging). I am controlling my spendings. I was thinking since the season is going to change, new designs is bounce to come out, so no point going to get the things now. Since I already bought a watch and a bag. I got 4 months in China. No need to rush and get some stuff now right? Well, they have been asking me to go along and all, but Yen's words, reminded me:　＂想去就去，不想去就别逼自己。＂　So in the end, I went to lunch with Yao Tian and Boon Pin because they didn't went shopping with the group. In the end, the 3 of us decide to visit the book store in the city and I manage to buy a dictionary recommanded by our very own Mr Danny Yeo! And I bought a book for both my sis as well. It is cheap compare to Singapore because some of the stuff originated from China you see. After that, we went to dinner at a shop near the book store before heading back to the school. Guess what? We left the school at about 2pm, and we reach at around 7pm! And the group is still not back yet! And I am kinda glad that I didn't went with them because, they tend to do a lot of shopping when outside and didn't think of the usefulness in some of the things they bought. Well, I guess, that's all for tonight. Got to go do my work!

More Updates

Went shopping with the girls after dinner at this shop where we can have unlimited refill for rice! Haha! And for once I ate 2 bowls of rice since I came to China! Guess I am finally starting to get use to the food in China...... After that, bought a necklace at $32RMB. The girls were saying that it is nice and all...

Bought this grey turtle neck for my mom and I guess it is quite nice and all, because it is only $30RMB and comfortable!

And this 2 tins of tea is for my father and nanny who likes tea a lot! (Bought the tea at this tea farm when we went to tour around Xi Hu)

Yup! That's all for today! Going out to the bookstore in the city tomorrow! Hope I can finally get some stuff I wanted! But really, I hope I am not over spending!

Updates

I am back! Went out to buy some stuff with Jacelyn yesterday after lesson and guess what? I bought a watch! at $45 RMB! It is like about S$10! I think it is okay, price is around Singapore, and the watch i is nice. What do you guys think?

After that, I bought this brown hoodie at $50 RMB with Jacelyn's help and well, I think it is nice and all...

Went to buy some socks again and this time, it is selling at 8 pairs for $10 RMB! And I am totally in awe! Haha! Shared the socks with Jacelyn may buy some again for my sisters. Though I am not sure, if I am able to choose what they like. But well, just lwt nature take it's course. Haha!

Well, from the looks of it, I think, I may start spending sooner or later, because, I am going to the bookstore this friday ad may buy a table lamp to use in the room. Well, will decide when the time comes... Ja Ne!

Updates

A week has passed, and I am back to update!

Been a really busy week though, school work, touring around, shopping and all...... But gues what? I am starting to get the hang of it!

Bought a Hello Kitty cup that can keep my drinks warm for a while and it cost at abt S$5 only! And because I have been coughing a lot due to the cold weather, I got my friend to get a pillow for me at about S$7.50! And the when we went out yesterday with the China students, I bought a bag at about S$10! Haha! Are you envious? But what I bought is nothing compare to my friends, my main aim is to visit the book stores in China!

So, for the last few days, nothing special came up it is just lessons and more lessons. On friday, we went to 西湖、灵隐寺for a tour and also this tea farm to get some top grade 龙井茶。Bought 2 cans of tea to bring back to Singapore and took lots of photos at the various throughout the tour. Will upload them once I get downloaded them from my friends. There are simply too many photos for me to post.

On Saturaday night, 高丰老师 brought us out for dinner and treated us for that meal! That's so nice of him! After that, we went to walk around and my friends bought some stuff and we went back.

On Sunday, He brought us to 欧尚for lunch and we did more shopping for our daily neccessities! Haha! Went back to hostel to keep the stuff at about 5pm and proceed to dinner before going back to the night market we went on Saturaday to get some socks since it is cheap and nice! And we went back to the hostel cold and freezing! The weather is just too cold!




Had our first lesson today, was a bit boring and tiring because we had to wake up early! And the weather is super cold!!! Went to bought a scarf beacause the weather is simply too cold! Guess how much is this? Only about S$2.50! Can you believe it?
