Hectic week!

This is has being hectic!

Not only I am rushing projects and presentations, I am also practicing hard for daiko! Performance for the ministers is on the 20th! SO looking forward to the after performance period so that we can rest! And to think I broke my shoe yesterday on the way to MAC with Melissa!

Oh man! I got drag my feet, all the way to MAC before using some plastic strips to tie the slipper with my feet so that I can walk! Previously lost my little finger's ring, and bad luck starts coming!

Photo of the broken slipper!

Another problem is that I need to decide whether I want to go WuHan or ZeJiang by 1st Dec! I really cannot decide man! The class is splitting up! And I am torn between following the crowd or following my friends! I am really confused, stress, unfocus!

Too many happenings, and committement causes all these feelings! It has been a long time since this type of things happen...... I really need advice......

P.S. daiko people, do take care of yourself and learn to distress!

P.S. Yen, take care!

New Look!

New Clover Look!

Thanks to Jaslyn and Pei Yi, my blog got this new look! Really like to thanks them for their effort! Going out with Melissa to look for the slippers for our performance next week! Oh dear, time is suddenly so precious!

Reached school at about 8.30am today for daiko training, and had some discussions about the solutions for the cca t-shirt and the slippers for performance. Had the rehearsal at 11 plus and it was...... weird. After that, went to IMM with Melissa, Stephie, Pei Yi and Alvin to look for the slippers only to go back to school with a lot of food.

Had a long crapping session and trying to do up my blog until dinner time. And for godness sake! The temperature at the back stage is super super cold! we are almost freezing to death! So we had to pass around our jackets to keep ourselves warm. Anyway, the performance was quite good I guess...... And again, I enjoyed myself a lot today, even though by the end of the day, I am half dead. Took quite a number of photos today, and will properly upload them tomorrow, once I get them......

Going to miss the chaotic time spend in daiko once the series of performance ended though......

Daiko training & performance

Decided to post an English post because I was too tired.

Holiday on Monday and went to have lunch with my family to celebrate my youngest sister's good result: She got 1st in class and 1st in her level! (Furthermore, it is in 中正总校! Oh my god! Isn't she great?) Anyway, after lunch went to suntec to get a bag I had wanted for a long time, only to realise that the shop was close.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and today had daiko training, rehearsal and performance. Training for 3 days straight, is tiring and all, but I guess, it is always fun to be with them! Yesterday's performance is quite nice i guess, if the drum stand don't move so much. Anyway, Alvin joined us after that and helped us with the packing and stuff! (Thanks, Alvin!) Had rehearsal in the evening, and it is still bad for me, I guess I am making more mistakes! Really worried about it when Xin Jie told me about it! (Oh my god!) Currently, looking forward to Saturaday's performance, hope I can do it well and also don't make mistake!

All in all, it is fun and time fulfilling when I spend time at daiko! Really love it! Below is the photos we took during the performance yesterday!

Tired, Happy & Unknown feelings......

A English post once again!

Yesterday was a busy, tired, and happy day! Lessons was boring and confusing as usual and I rush off to help JTC to make the locker tags for NP @ 45. Went for daiko practice after that! And the instructor is finally present! The training was tedious and fulfilling! Really love the time spend in daiko! Though I didn't spend a lot of time with Stephie, and I do realise she is busy and all... I am still happy to see her! Haha! After daiko, waited for a while and only had dinner at abt 10pm with Xin Jie, Phui Shan and Pei Yi. Reached home at 12am, only because I get to take my father's car, when he was fetching my mom from work.

Yes, that is why I am so tired and happy...... All because of daiko...... It is really a very important part in my life......

As for unknown feelings... I guess I am unhappy...... People who tends to go MIA and come back for practice without any explaination and gives rubbish reasons...... Gosh! I can't stand them! Even though I am not the person in charge, but it is my past experience that gives me all the reasons that i can't be happy when I see them! I can really understand Daniel and Melissa when they met with all the troubles to contact people during this holiday...... Because I experience this kind of situations before! Well, I must say that, it really bothers me to work with people who tends to go missing all the time! But I must learn to control my feelings... Otherwise, I am so going to be 'transparent' in front of others.

P.S.
To Stephie: Even though you are pressured with stress and had a hard time finding time to do stuff, learn to relax and also talk to your friends if there is anything troubling you!

To Phui Shan & Pei Yi: Jiayou for the daiko training and all, you can do it! Don't worry!

To Alvin: Thanks for helping us for the performance when we needed people!

To Daniel: Learn to relax and try not to let things stress you up! Cheers!

To Melissa: Don't hesitate to ask us for help when you need them!

Sleep Sleep Sleep & Drink Drink Drink

Long awaited English post.

Slept from 12pm to 8pm yesterday when I came back from the daiko chalet! But I am still tired!Haha! This is the result of not sleeping for 3d2n! After that I slept from 12am all the way to 9.30am! It has been a long time since I slept that long! Haha!

Got a feeling I am going to be sick because I am constantly feeling tired and lack of water. Not getting enough water during the chalet is definitely a bad choice. In the end, during the chalet, I bought 2 bottles of 1.5litre of mineral and shared it with mainly Stephie and Alvin. But how can that be enough? Currently, trying to drink lots of water and get lots of sleep so that I can recover from the tiredness and sickness.

Heard that there will be another daiko training on friday, will looking forward to it before school reopening, otherwise, my life will be so...meaningless? Well, I just know that daiko, or rather, CCA is an important factor in my life!

I LOVE Daiko Chalet!

晚上,K.S.

The best part of me 只给你

K-BOX

Pinko:

Daiko Training

English Post Again!

Met up with Melissa & Daniel at Orchard for an daiko outing! As usual time with my fellow daiko members is always funfilling and relaxing! Went to Kinokuya to get some manga and stuff before walking to Far East Plaza for some shopping spree!

Stephie, Calista, & Jordan came over to meet up with us after that, and in the end only me and Melissa bought some stuff. After that, we went get Xin Jie's $12 Japanese Melon, before going to Takashimaya for ice-cream treated by Daniel! Haha! So nice of him, though he was like a bit trying to run from it (i think).

After the ice-cream treat, we went back to school for daiko training where we met up Kenny & Xin Jie. Training was fun as usual and we really had fun training, though my stick flew away today! By the end of the practice, we were trying so hard to get enough people for the Chinese Garden performance because only 6 person is available for the performance.

And guess who?

The usual: Melissa, Daniel, Xin Jie, Kenny, Stephie & me! Haha! In the end, we included Jordan & Alvin into the performance! And we were informed that Chaolin is available for the performance when we were going for dinner! Right now, looking forward to Monday and Tuesday's training! Because, we will be training Alvin and Jordan for the basic! I am sure that it will be lots of laughter!

Daiko Filming

English Post Once Again!

Today's daiko training before the filming in the morning, was quite smooth sailing. However, before we even started practising, the camera man came over and say that they wanted to film a candid scene of our practice, thus we have no choice but to obey. After which, we continued to have our self practice.

However, after lunch, we were to face the terrible truth! We are to carry 6 big drums, 2 small drums, 8 drum stands, the costumes, the drum sticks and our bag all the way from Blk 72 to Blk 30 near canteen 3! Imagine the distance!

We were so upset by the fact that the guys went round to try and borrow a trolley or a buggy to carry the drums over. However, after much attempts, Daniel and Melissa only manage to borrow one trolley. But it is better than none! So we make do with our 5 guys(Kenny, Xin Jie, Daniel, Chao Lin & Jevon), and 4 girls(Melissa, Stephie, me & Calista). The sun was scorching hot and we were quite dehydrated under the weather.

However, problem starts when we finished filming! Jevon left early and we were left with 4 guys and 4 girls. The worst situation is that we need to make 2 trips to get all the things back into the store rooms! This was one of the most tiring thing of the whole day! At the end of it, we went to Cheers to have some drinks and hydrate ourselves, and chit chat for a bit. However, we are all VERY VERY VERY TIRED!

All in all, though the filming was tiring and exhausting, I quite enjoy today's time with my fellow daikomates! Looking forward to the next outing with them! Time flew when I am always with them, I wonder why?

JTC Movie Marthon

Another English post!

Today, I met up with the JTC friends again! This has been going on for about two weeks non-stop! Frankly, spending my september holidays with JTC friends, daiko friends, is really a joy to me! Really Love the time spend with them!

The movie marthon starts at 9.30am, yet i arrived early to let the others to write Stephie's card. However, the movie marthon did not start until about 9.45am. The first movie '蛮有深度', but at least, it is quite entertaining. The second movie was something that I had wanted to watch previously, but did not have the chance. However, it is quite interesting, until the later half, where it starts to get like normal yazuka movies.

After the second movie, Stephie, Xin Jie and me went off for lunch, and met Stephie's boyfriend. Actually I would have ask Xin Jie to go off and leave them to the 两人世界, but in the end we joined them for lunch. I felt like a big lightblub! Furthermore, I took the same train with Stephie and her boyfriend all the way till Bugis. But I try to give them space. Not that I dun enjoy Stephie's company, it is just that it feels weird.

All in all, the day is fun-filling , and i love the time spend together with them! Looking forward to Wednesday's performance and practice session!

P.S. And results are out today! My school results was well above my expectations and I pass my Japanese test! I am so getting ready for my level 2 Japanese! Though, there is little chance that we might be in the same class again, but looking forward to meeting some of them during Japanese lessons!

Please note: for the sake of my friends in JTC daiko, I am writing my blog in english!(for today!)

Today's daiko practice was one of the small scale practice where there are only 7 of us present and we only brought out 4 big drums and 2 small drums. At first, we were teaching our new daiko head: Melissa how to play Isamigoma, then we were doing some practice of the other 2 songs: Tomodachi and Okinawa practice. And suddenly after the short break, we started practicing Hiryuu and we started to get addicted to it.

When Xinjie came, we played at a much better speed and Melissa manage to learn Hiryuu. Yay! It is fun and very fulfilling! After that, we went for dinner, at the hawker centre nearby Ngee Ann, and i ate 2 serving! Oh dear! But at least, it is filling.

When i reach home at about 11.45pm, and make sure Stephie is home! Haha!Currently, looking forward to Sunday's concert! Hope it will be fun!
